Jitterbit Gives Back: 2016 Silicon Valley Tour de Cure

As part of Jitterbit’s commitment to the Pledge 1% movement, also known as the 1-1-1 model (to leverage our technology, people and resources to philanthropic work), our bike team saddled up again. On Sunday June 12th, Jitterbit proudly sponsored Team Carb DM for the 2016 Silicon Valley Tour de Cure bike ride to help fund programs for diabetes research and support.

Team Carb DM was a group of 27 riders, including Jitterbit’s Drew Noel, Vera Rossi and team captain Krishna Varia. Jointly they raised almost $12,000 to support the cause and rode over 1500km in one day. Our youngest rider was just 11 years old.

The riders each have a family member or a friend with Type 1 Diabetes or are a T1D themselves (Red Riders).
